INTO THE ABYSS: In this theme, you're tasked with delving into the unknown, exploring the depths of the abyss, and uncovering the mysteries, dangers, or wonders that lie beneath. The abyss symbolizes a chasm of the uncharted, a place where the rules may be different, and where great discoveries or terrifying challenges await those who dare to venture there.<be></be>

How to participate:

• Create a game based on the theme.
• Sign up for a free GitHub account if you don't already have one. It's free, and I assure you I’m not on any sort of commission!
• Join the Amalthea GameJam AD 2023 on itch.io. If you don’t already have an itch.io account you can register here., or you can sign in with your GitHub account.
• Create a new public GitHub repository to store the source code and any assets you’re able to share for your entry. Its completely based on your will; if you do not want to share it you can do so as well.
• Submit your game through itch.io.

• You can work in teams of any size.
• The game should be clean that is no NSFW (not safe for work) content.
• Pre-made assets can be used as long as you have the rights to use in your games.
• Your game should be submitted within the time-frame. However, minor updates are allowed after the game has been submitted.

Voting will open shortly after the jam ends and is open to everyone who’s submitted a game. Entries will be rated from 1 to 5 based on the following categories:

• Adherence to Theme
• Innovation
• Audio
• Game Design
• Graphics

Everyone who participated (submitters and contributors) can vote.

There will be 3 overall winners.

There will be one winner for each criterion (based purely on ratings). So there will be 5 category winners as well.

• First Prize: Rs. 20000
• Second Prize: Rs. 10000
• Third Prize: Rs. 5000
• Five Category Prizes: Rs.3000 each (categories mentioned in the voting section)
