Ah the sheer nostalgia! Can't believe I would get to see something like this in this Jam. Brings backs memories!

The turn based combat was well implemented with lots of choices and outcomes. Good moves and variety in actions. Although I got everyone of my party members killed xD.

Audio and sound effects for the moves and effects were beautiful and the old JRPG soundtracks were lovely to sit and listen to.  However, there were few audio artefacts and random cuts on some of the sounds used.

Kudos on the visuals and art! I only wish I could play past a certain point but I got the attention span of a 'fruit fly', hehe.  Had problems with the aspect ratio on start-up, but it could just be me.
Keep up the good work and looking forward to seeing more from you!

thank you for very detailed review, very appreciated that. For aspect ratio as far as I know RM2K is only 320*240pixel so you may use Alt+Enter to put into windows mode instead.

I don't know much about Mega Man Battle Network and I know even less about .hack lol.

The story isn't super gripping... at the start it's just "let's go get some data" "ok" without any explanation of how these two universes are crossing over. Some of the dialogue could have been proofread, and instructions on where to go aren't always clear.

Visually, it looks pretty good, and the audio is nice too (though I'm not sure about the music changes whenever you start a boss fight, it's a little awkward).

And the gameplay is fine, though the battles are a bit repetitive.

thank you so much for the review, the story I realized is so simple referring to the original Megaman Battle Network. Will add instruction menu on next game. For battle, yes it is repetitive hence I put the non random battle and Gameshark codes to eliminate enemies.
