Game description
Retro 2D platformer, with light story and "Dungeons and Dragons" inspired elements.

Theme interpretation
It made us think purposefully about the environmental layering and shaped Shaun the cobalt's personality.

it was fun to play once you get the hang of it, though was repetitive after beating it once, if the item placement were randomised it'd been more fun imo. 

Died a few times in at the start cause i didnt know what to do, after getting a hang of it I could beat the game. I thought there were 3 glass fragments and was searching for the 3rd one for quite some time lol, my best time was around 10 seconds on this game. 

Absolutely loved the art, imo that was the best part of this game.

Yeah definitely having some randomization would increase replay-ability and interest!
I gotta learn more about Autoloads, Scene Managers, and just generally game stop/ start functions to better pace a game to give players a beat to read and get a hang. I attempted a few tries at making those in the code of the game but I couldn't get it to work in time 😅

Definitely something to look into further before the next jam!
