Gameathon is a two-week program designed to guide students with
little to no previous experience to build their first game.
Gameathon is a two-week event hosted by Bit Project in collaboration with industry partners, where anyone can learn the skills needed to make your own video game! Spend a week familiarizing yourself with some of the most popular game development engines used in the industry today, and then spend a week coding the best game you can. No prior experience is necessary, and everyone is welcome to join. Submit a game, and you'll be in the running for hundreds of dollars in prizes!

Bit Project is a student-run organization based at UC Davis dedicated to making technical eduction accessible to all. We do this by developing open-source programs and hosting workshops and webinars about topics in the STEM field.
