Really lovely concept, well made game! I included it in my GameDevNetwork: The Big Festive Game Jam compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look. :)

Tahnk you so much for this video and for your feedback! Very appreciated! :)

I recommend putting the game rules in a little tutorial screen or at least in a readme file within the game. I had no clue what to do until I checked the tutorial page.

Regardless of that, this is a nice strategy game, and apparently you made it all with a custom engine. I have respect for devs who do that and can build a nice product in jam time, so be proud, and you got extra points for the linux port, as I promised. If I had to still improve something I'd be minor polishing, game balance and maybe a nice soundtrack? :3

Congratulations for this entry, I gave you an average 4.25/5.

Thanks so much! Indeed I spent some time making it with my own SDL based framework. I highly recommend doing it, since it is an awesome learning experience as well.

Really neat game! Great work on the AI especially - some clearer instructions are much needed though, without the information on the game page I would've been clueless

Nice concept! it would be nice having commands and a explanation of what each structure does inside the game. I wish I had someone to play with me :( :(  :(

I'm really not sure how to play this, as I can't understand which key allows me to place other objects beside the gold mine. Looks pretty interesting though!

Nice little strategy game there! It doesn't look like a fast-paced game at first, but I was wrong, haha. It was only until I read the description of the game that I understood what's going on. :) Maybe a good in-game description or tutorial will help a lot for future players. Some tweaks that could make an improvement to the game-play is adjusting the gold needed to build stuff and shoot, adding health to the base, etc.

Overall, it is a very good game!

P.S. Yup, I think it can be a good little mobile game, but of course it needs more polishing and some more contents. :)

Oh wow, i waited for the windows version(too lazy to try linux lol) but it was worth it!!! I personally think that a mobile version it will shine like a diamond , it's so fun and the AI is really balanced, the art is well fitted wit the style of the game. Can't wait to try with my friends! And it's also good partecipating with a compratiot. Very nice work! (now i'm going to install on linux)

Thank you so much for the kind words! About the mobile version: you made me want to make a port actually :)
