1. Register: Sign up on itch.io and follow the GameDevUtopia Defold Game Jam 2024 page.

2. Form Teams: Team up with friends or join forces with other jammers in the community or go solo!

3. Get Creative: Once the theme is announced, let your imagination run wild and start crafting your masterpiece.

4. Submit: Upload your game to itch.io before the deadline and get ready to showcase your talent!

🏆 Judging Criteria:

- Creativity (How quirky and unique you design your game)

- Execution (The key aspect for Game Dev)

- Technical Mastery (Bring out the dev in you!)

- Fun Factor ('The game is fun.The game is a battle.If it's not fun, why bother?')

-Collaboration (Brownie points for teams that are from different colleges, the shortlist will be interviewed if you're wondering)

Awards:

Prizes will be given to all winning teams with Steam Giftcards worth given below:

- The Best Overall Game - 100 €

- The Best Game Design - 50 €

- The Best Game Art - 50 €

- Runner Up/Judges' Favourite - 25 €

For groups within GDU Community, there are Special Prizes :)

🚨 Rules:

- All assets must be created during the jam. The use of third party assets is valid as long as you credit the asset creator

- Submitting an existing game/prototype is only valid only if more then 3/4th of the work or polish was done during the game jam, else it would not be considered

- The Game must be made in Defold

- Third party tools and assets are fine but blatant plagiarism is a massive NO.

- Submissions must adhere to the theme.

- Be respectful and supportive of fellow jammers.
