  • I can tell that there was an amazing idea when you started working on the game. I pretty much don't care that the player is controlled like a car, but you could make the objects in the game transparent when the player is walking behind them. It's a shame that the card battle wasn't implemented, I was really looking forward to it since you drew inspiration from some great games. The small pieces of the story left in the game look interesting. I bet I would love the story if it was completely finished. The audio in the background is a bit strange and a bit too short. I am pretty sure you gained a lot of experience from participating in this gamejam. Next time, please, use the official IDE supported by Unity. The direct support of Unity's functions and classes would save you some time that you could spend somewhere else. Thank you very much for your participation and I wish you good luck in your next gamejams!
  • This is clearly a very unfinished game and a lesson on project scoping for the team. But I get an idea of the game, it seems to be some sort of dungeon crawl with some mystery of it (part of the mystery is whether there is anything to the game). There is the underground ingredient used, albeit the maze doesn't make much sense. The other ingredients I don't see much. The character has very strange "steering behavior" and in some places it gets obscured by walls, arches and other things in front of it (which is generally a big no in such kind of game). The graphics could definitely use more polish, it seems inconsistent. Also be more careful with names and places... you managed to spell a place name in three ways in a very short time for no reason - Ružíčka, Ruzicka, Ruzhichka (and none of these I deem correct)... make your mind next time, don't confuse your player.

I think it's a (good) start to a gamejam career. I can only generally recommend that 3D is not always a good choice.

There is probably no need to address all the shortcomings here, I take the game more as an attempt to see if the authors are able to create a game at all (and that they will try again and better next time), so just the most general advice:

- not everything has to be 3D

- ideally take the objects from one package so that they match each other

- a person is NOT a train or a car, wasd controls would be easier

- keys + lock are nice mechanics, but they don't replace the entire gameplay

- by the beginning, tell the player who is, what is, what is happening (am I looking for something? am I running away from somewhere? somewhere? do I have a task?)
