Gamen'gain (Pravega '21)

Game Development Event

We are really happy to announce that this event is our newest addition to the pool of events, starting from this year. If you have ever participated in an online game-jam, the principles are exactly the same. This is a 48-hour game-making marathon, focused on design, mechanics, and clever ideas.

Like in every game-jam, there will be a particular theme (which will be announced at the time of the event) and a specific span of time. You have to make a game based on that theme. Simple, right?

After building the game, submit it through the appropriate portal, and they will be played, evaluated, and the winners will be decided by the judges.

Prizes

There are 3 prizes with a chance to win up to 15,000/- per team.

• 1st prize: 15000 INR
• 2nd prize: 10000 INR
• 3rd prize: 5000 INR

The prizes will be awarded based on these Key Performance Indicators of the games:

1. Aesthetics (Color, Audio)
2. Gameplay
3. How well the theme was utilized

The winners will also be given a certificate of winning in the game development event in “Pravega”, the annual cultural fest of IISc Bangalore. All the participants will also be provided a certificate of participation.
