Game On Jam is a 7-day game creation event where participants of all skill levels come together to build incredible games, share ideas, and push their limits. Whether you’re a developer, artist, designer, or writer, this is your chance to create something unique and have fun along the way!

How It Works

Sign Up and Get Ready! Register for Game On Jam and get ready to dive into your next game development project. Once you sign up, we’ll send you all the details you need, including the official theme and submission guidelines.

Theme Reveal On January 12, 2025, we’ll reveal the theme of the jam. Your challenge is to create a game that interprets and fits the theme within the next 7 days!

Create Your Game Whether you’re coding, designing, or developing sound, you’ll have complete freedom to bring your game to life! Use any tools, engines, and assets of your choice (with some restrictions, which will be clarified at the start).

Collaborate and Share During the jam, we encourage you to engage with other participants! Share progress, ask for feedback, and get inspired. Join our [Discord/Slack/Forum] community to stay in touch with other creators, provide feedback, and keep the momentum going.

Submit Your Game By January 19, 2025, submit your completed game and any supporting materials, such as descriptions and credits. Be sure to follow the submission guidelines and double-check everything before you hit submit!

Vote and Rate Other Games After the submission period, you'll have the chance to rate and provide feedback on the games made by your fellow participants. You’ll have until January 26, 2025, to rate the games. Your ratings will help everyone learn, improve, and celebrate each other’s creativity.

Rules and Guidelines

Assets: You are encouraged to create original assets during the jam, but if you use pre-made assets, make sure to properly credit them and ensure you have the right to use them.

Collaboration: You can work solo or in teams. Be sure to credit everyone who contributed to the game.

Technology: Use the game engines, tools, and platforms you are most comfortable with! Keep in mind any platform-specific restrictions that might apply.

Respectful Environment: This is a community event, so please maintain a positive and respectful atmosphere. Encourage creativity and support your fellow participants.
