I liked the story (the parts of it I could get to) and the vibes! I too had some trouble doing tasks with the space bar, I failed each one haha, and I sometimes had to use my mouse to click buttons to be able to select them. Unity sometimes has some funky behavior about selecting UI elements, so it may be worth implementing some code that will select the next button when a UI element is enabled? I got up to the end of my first shift when it was time to lock up and then I had some issue that seemed to stop me from progressing. Either way definitely interesting to play wish I could've gotten further!

I have also been unable to complete the game with a screen reader. When I got to the point where I needed to make a decision when talking to Jim, I didn't see the options when using the arrow keys and not even clicking on them with the mouse let me move on. Also, when I was at the task to pick up dishes after mashing through almost the entire time the task was still failed.

What I liked: The settings/characters seem very homey and sweet! Wonderful work on that. Instant small town vibes.

Potential bugs: sometimes the keyboard works, sometimes you have to use the mouse to navigate? Like the enter key progressed sometimes, but didn't others. Which forced me to use the mouse, which won't work for gamers relying on screen readers. Overall knowing what button to press was a bit rough.

Quit doesn't seem to quit the game.

Also there is a setting for volume in the main menu, but I didn't hear anything. Not sure if that is to be added later or if it's a bug where audio just didn't play for me.
