- I like the idea of turning Minesweeper into a turn based game, it actually feels like a surprisingly good fit, and the way you have split things up between the family members is a nice concept too. I did find the father's sweeping ability a little constricting, perhaps because I was over pre-occupied with saving the entire family! I would have liked it if perhaps his skill was expanded so that it also revealed numbered squares around him, or perhaps this ability could have been given to the daughter instead so she didn't feel quite so useless! Instead I kept using his skill and it felt like it told me nothing. From your document, I think it's great that you spent time finding a way to ensure every level was possible to complete. Player movement was also implemented well, but it would have been nice if I could trace out the path I wanted the character to follow rather than having to use the path suggested by the game, although I realise this would likely be a suggestion that is far easier to make than it is to implement. The UI of your game is basic but serves its purpose and is easy to use, which is the most important thing. I also like the idle animations of the characters too which helps make the game more interesting to look at.
