- First off, full disclosure, I'm not particularly good at first person shooter games, so I'm not sure if I just wasn't good enough to finish a level or whether the levels aren't actually completable! The enemies moving around the world were too tough, although I appreciate that there was a shop where I could buy better weapons that would have made this easier, but after several plays I still hadn't earned enough to buy anything better. I think the idea of using a Minesweeper map to generate the level is very clever and works quite well, and I liked the way the Minesweeper map gets filled in as you move about, although having a minimap view in the corner of the screen to show the map being explored would have been a nice addition to prevent having to keep bringing the map up. The generated levels were interesting to look at and explore, and it was good that they included changes in height too. As you point out your documentation could do with improvement. It's good to see the list of things you would have liked to include, and your comment about inheritance suggests that you are starting to think about how best to structure your code to reduce "reinventing the wheel" every time you want to add a new feature that is similar to an existing feature. I hope you are pleased with the final outcome of your project and that you found it a useful experience, as there's no better way to learn than by doing something! Best of luck with your future projects.
