Games vs Nazis II is a ten day long anti-nazi game jam! This year's theme is NAZIS, ON ICE! Have fun and punch some Nazis!

Jam is over! Judging and stream schedule TBA! (but probably to happen on 12/2/2018!)

Don't want to wait until the jam ends to scratch that Nazi punching itch? Play the submissions to the first Games vs Nazis jam! https://itch.io/jam/games-vs-nazis/entries These games involve punching Nazis so safe to say they're all great.

Joining a team
Participants are strongly encouraged to team up with other entrants! Find people who complement your strengths! Looking for teammates? Come say hi in the Dogpit Discord! We also encourage you to say hi in the discord regardless and meet other chill gamedevs, artists, game audio people, voice actors, and other neat folks!

Rules of the jam

  • Nazis are bad.
  • Make a game that follows the theme and submit it by the deadline!
  • Do not start working on your game until the jam begins. (more details on this in the FAQ)
  • Entries that include hate speech, harassment, or other forms of malicious content will be disqualified. Use your best judgment; if you aren't sure if what you're planning is OK, ask an organizer
  • The game you submit to the jam must be free at least until the end of judging.
  • Do not make a game that endorses violence against people who don't explicitly advocate fascism or white nationalism. This is not a games vs. Republicans jam. That means violence against MAGA-hat-wearers is not OK. Violence against jerks sporting Hitler youth haircuts, skinhead punks with neo-nazi symbols, actual WWII Nazis is fair game.
  • Do not depict any real person alive today being killed.
  • Your game must be playable on a PC either as a standalone application or in-browser. Feel free to also submit MacOS or Linux builds but if your game can't be played in some form on a PC then we won't be able to judge it!

Winning the jam

This jam's winners are decided by a closed panel of judges: Floppy AdultSnowSchuXibanya, and Harold Krell. Each judge will have a block of entries to play and will nominate games from their block for consideration in the categories. All judges will play all nominees and then come to a consensus on the winners. Judging brackets to be announced after close of submissions.
