Ranked from 8 ratings. Score is adjusted from raw score by the median number of ratings per game in the jam.

Give a brief description of your game:
Defeat aliens and use the power of Special Relativity to slow down time as you move faster.

What controls do you need to use?
WASD to move; Mouse to aim & shoot; F to use workbenches

How did you bring the theme of Time into your entry?
Time slows down as you accelerate; It's like an inverse Super Hot

What was the most interesting part about making the game?
The time algorithm was actually one of the easiest parts of development. This was the first game project where I made all of the art assets myself, and it was a pain in the @$$, but I feel it was worth it.

Anything else to add?
The music in the game was composed myself but I did not make it during the jam.

Cute story! I included it in my Games Plus Jam compilation video series, if you’d like to check it out. :)

If this jam had a category for story, this game would easily get 5 stars. No other game has made me laugh so much. The gameplay is solid, and while I think the controls can feel a little floaty, it doesn't subtract too much from the main experience. There is a decent amount of enemy variety which helps to mix the game up, and I just found it a lot of fun. Well done!

Hello Deglis, just played your game, and will leave some feedback. Hope you don't mind!

First of all, really nice to see a game that had some physics stuff, in a creative way as well ( I study Physics Engineering here in Brazil). I believe this game will help me be more creative, since even after studying lots of complicated stuff and that surely would give nice mechanics in games (relativity itself is an example), these things never came to my mind as game mechanics. After playing this, I believe I'll think a bit more on how to make games more interesting using things I know.

Now, about the gameplay: I didn't play a lot, but I can say the game seems to have a good depth, with the upgrades and money drops (at least more depth than my entry, that is a very similar gameplay wise, but less well executed I would say).

However, as nice as the relativity mechanic is, I didn't find it very useful. Maybe towards the end game it becomes more interesting and helps more, but at least in the beggining its impact isn't very noticeable. Maybe the reason is becauseit would possibly be game breaking if more powerful? Well, I don't know.

Anyway, I liked what I played. Funny and well executed :)

I really love the story, it is rare to find writing that so thoroughly encompasses the range of human emotions.   The monsters are also absolutely adorable.
