Best Scene/Level Design!!ποΈ
The end of the year is approaching and the GDC is about to approach it's 3rd year anniversary! With that let's end this year with a bang with
'The Best Scene/Level Design'. The theme is broad for a reason, be creative!
An eligible participant is the following:
- Student at the University of Delaware
All entries must adhere to the following rules:
- The game doesn't need to have a completion system; however, there should be a way to move around in the world. You can not show off a scene/level
- Start/Menu screen
- Must incorporate some level of mechanics
- i.e. sound, ambience, sfx, particle effects, etc.
- All game engines are allowed
- Team sizes must be 3 or less
- Game must be feature complete
- Free and playable on submission
- Must adhere to the theme
- Does not need to be specifically one level, it can be multiple levels or multi-sceens! Feel free to include story as well!

Entries may be ranked by anyone on the following criteria:
Each criterion will receive a score out of 5.
- Gameplay - Is it fun, unique?
- Theme - Does it adhere to the theme?
- Graphics - How nice is it to look at?
- Sometimes less is more
- Completeness - Can you play start to finish?
- Audio/Effects - Is the environment immersive?
