The concept is nice, its just that its brought down by the need for multiplayer, which makes reviewing the game harder than normal. I would really recommend adding an offline mode to your games, just in-case.

I'm not sure I had the best connection with the person I was playing with, since the game was jumping all over the place. Even without that issue, I don't feel as though it was working all that well: the attack range seems tiny considering (if I understand correctly) the person using it doesn't get to position the player character themselves. I also found the spikes virtually impossible to clear, though that might have been down to the connectivity issues: ultimately I had to give up because I just couldn't get the character to move at all. They got sort of stuck at the start of the second level right after respawning. It is a neat take on the jam theme, though!
