Any chance the music was based on Melting Chariots?

I had fun playing this, even alone. The movement and inflating (and exploding) beasts was amusing and a great approach to the theme.

I would want to improve this by adding sound effects for more events/interactions, such as eating the fruit, collisions with the environment, player movement etc. A more polished win screen with the option to restart etc, would also be nice.

Well done for finishing the game and thanks for sharing!

That was a rather nice game. Granted, didnā€™t have anyone to play with, but itā€™s a rather novel 1v1 local multiplayer sort of game.

I did get a mildly amusing bug at one point which caused player 2ā€™s creature to somehow go beyond the size at which it was meant to explode and just continue growing without exploding. no idea how that happened though (and then player 1 exploded at the regular size).

Anywho, Iā€™d suggest trying to produce a WebGL build of your game as well, so itā€™ll be playable in browser (which I find tends to help when it comes to ā€˜convincing people to play your gameā€™)

Thank you for your feedback, We are aware of some bugs hahaha. but that's how game jam games go. Some of us on the team are going to continue to polish this a little more but I think we are taking just a short break. Definitely look into a WebGL build, thanks again!

This game plays really smooth! I couldn't test the full extent of it on my own, but it was already fun trying to bash into myself and rolling around the arena gathering snacks šŸŠ
