Talking points of your game
This game is made for the 21st GDL Game Jam. It is a remake of the classic game Tetris.
You need to build an apartment with the blocks, and the apartment should be has high as possible.
Each floor need to be more than 4 rows of blocks, and after you complete a floor, it will be separated and the camera will move up , so you can start building the next floor.
the blue blocks are windows, and they can't be separated in the middle.
Booms can be used to remove a block. Just simply drag it on the block you want to remove, and if the block is a part of a window, the entire window will be removed.
A, D to move horizontally, S to speedup the falling , and Space to rotate.
What Assets did you use?
I made everything by myself.
Game Engine: Unity
Art made with the default Paint program in Windows10, and Photoshop
BGMs are made with GarageBand on ios.
Sound effects are made with an online program: bfxr.net

nice effort, good remake of tetris with a twist. good work.
I feel like it could be more fun with more variation of pieces, snappier movement and something else new. Maybe another twist. Cause i kinda got bored after 1 apartment :P
either way you got it done and working before the deadline, great work!
Thank you!
I had fun playing this game. I liked the theme but it didn't feel like building an apartment after the first couple floors. I would recommend experimenting with making the pieces look like part of a building. (i.e. windows, balconies, etc.). Great concept!
Hi, thanks for playing my game and giving me feedback!
You are right, I also felt that when the game was half done, but I was focusing on fixing bugs so the game would be playable before the deadline. I'll continue work on it and try to make the art works more fit to the theme. Again, thanks for you comment!
