The GDXR (Game development and Extended Reality) club of Army Institute of Technology dispense before you |GENESIS|, the funkiest and beginner friendly game jam of the year.
The game jam will include a theme (to be disclosed at the start of the event) around which the participants must build a game or a prototype. The game should revolve around the theme and participants are given the freedom to interpret the theme however they want though in a limited period of time.
The worthy will be chosen from each category and three conquerors will take away the overall fame and will receive prizes from a total pool of 22K. the game jam will aim to provide a great game development experience.

The received games and prototypes will be judged based on the following categories:
- Originality
- Concept
- Art
- Audio
- Game play
Rules
- The theme of the game jam will be announced when the game jam starts. Participants are allowed to make any preparations beforehand.
- Each team should consist of at least 1 and at most 4 people.
- All game engines / tools are allowed.
- All submissions should be Safe for Work (SFW). NSFW (Not Safe for Work) submissions will be disqualified.
- All games should be digital and be playable on at least one of these platforms: Windows, Linux, Android, Mac OS,
- Web. All art and assets used (including audio, scripts, etc.) must be original OR Open Source / Royalty Free. Assets / Scripts created before the event can also be reused for the submission.
- Your game's Itch page should have a summary of your mechanics and clear instructions on installation, dependency requirements, a game-play video and how to run the game.
- The GDXR Club of AIT reserves the right to disqualify participants / submissions, modify constraints as well as extend submission time.
- In case of any dispute regarding the event or submissions, final decision authority lies in the hands of GDXR club AIT.
