Reminds a bit of "getting over it", not as frustrating though. Nice job.

It was interesting. However, I feel like there's a huge spike from the first level (challenging but possible, and thus interesting) to the second one (Where am I supposed to go?) . Also, I cleared the large platforming challenge near the end of level 1 by just spam clicking above my cube. Could be fixed with some cooldown or something.

Yeah. I screwed up my prefabs and failed to push a more polished version of the game (with another full level) like an hour before the end of the jam. I did lock out the spam-clicking before borking my setup - the tuning for jumps is that you can hold to max charge and slowly fly upwards.

Thanks for checking it out and for the feedback!

quite challenging (in a good way) though to be fair: it doesn't really miss a game mechanic, but the controls are changed instead.

Developer

It actually started out as an artillery game (think Worms), but I pivoted away a little when I thought I didn't have time to build AIs in, so now it's more of a platformer with wonky interactions. Thanks for checking it out!

Platforming without jumping, very nice.  How did you decide on the shape of the object?

Developer

Mostly based on needing to work with built-in Unity physics and wanting something irregular so it would roll around. Thanks for taking a look!
