Neat idea, with a lot of potential. I think the feedback is currently feeling very bad tho, a sound effect for the moment to press the button, and indication that the button was actually pressed, a different sound effect indicating that you lost, would all be things that would help the game feel "Not Rigged". Also maybe a "Results Screen" showing how fast you pushed Space, and how fast you should have pushed Space.
Also, spamming Spacebar is pretty viable, you should probably add a way to lose by pressing to early.

I spammed space and won as a test, but i did won legitimately first. Nice use of Japanese opera style delivery and very pleasing art!

I really like the concept and aesthetic, the sprite work and drumming really make a strong atmosphere. The one thing that took away from the experience for me was the slash not feeling super connected to the input. I think if some kind of animation triggered once you pressed space it'd make it a lot more satisfying to win. Great job nonetheless!

interesting idea and atmosphere, great pause menu, but it is a bit too easy
Thanks for the feedback :D I didn't want to make it too difficult but was testing it while very tired, so my reaction times were probably not the best for testing haha
