Congratulations on your first game jam game! I find your idea very original and amusing, even though the final product could use lots of improvement in terms of communication, balancing of the physics and having the system be more consistent (e.g getting rid of one of the input methods, probably the straight lines and not the grabbing). I encourage you to keep developing the game, the concept is neat and developing it further can be a great exercise.
Good luck!
LOVE this idea! needed a tutorial, took me a second to really get it. love a game that gives a good laugh!
I know the point of the game was to have an uncontrollable hand but attempting to control it was really difficult. I think that if the physics were changed, the controls were changed (they were really strange), and the arm had a greater range of motion this would be very enjoyable. I'm not saying that the player should just be able to move the arm wherever they want but it was just really hard to get it where I wanted to go. Also, some keyboard inputs for the colors would have been really nice to have.
