Unfortunately an idea that fits the theme doesn't necessarily make a good game. There is no fun in watching the character not leave the first screen.
Super animation, the character movement was so fluid, really lovely. I think there is an interesting idea here too but unfortunately the character only left the first room once very briefly before running back into the first room again, my patience could only hold out so long before I gave up waiting for the character to leave the room again. As I said though I think you have a cool idea here where you don't control the character but just the means to protect them.
Really cool concept. I think a concept like this needs more than 48 hours to be fleshed out. It's quite difficult to enjoy the game, and it wears on one's patience because I'm partly unsure how to play the game, and my experience has left me watching the protagonist running around very randomly. Still, I'd want to see where this could go!
I was intrigued by the title and premise, and I like the aesthetic - very consistent and nice on the eyes. Unfortunately, there wasn't a lot of gameplay here. I wanted to like the idea of merely being an assist to the actual protagonist, but this guy just mindlessly wanders around without any real goal, and you have no means at all of influencing their decision making. Maybe I just had really bad luck, but I was stuck in the first two rooms for about 10 minutes before throwing in the towel; I didn't encounter any enemies or obstacles whatsoever, so I was left confused.
It's a lovely idea, but I couldn't get to the third room, because the character just wouldn't walk there! Maybe the character should automatically go to the next room once all enemies are dead?
The game looks very nice! The animations are very fluid which is cool.
I would love to rate it but I think something is broken on my PC. The character just runs around the screen endlessly and nothing happens.
Interesting take - great art, and love the title :)
