I really like the visual style and the story. The sounds effects was okay, but they could have been more fun and interesting. The gameplay is also okay, but it feels a bit unfinished. Overall is this an interesting and pretty good jam game idea.
This was a neat game to play! Some of the modifiers were almost immediate game overs for me, though. I also would've liked if there was a little bit more visual distinction between the front and back of the ship. The art style was really neat, and I liked the little cinematic at the beginning of the game. Good job!
Thanks for the kind words, it makes me really happy to hear you liked it!
I'll take that on board should I update the game at some point. I hadn't thought about the ship like that but I think you raise a good point, so I'll try and modify it later. Thanks for the input!
The art-style in the game is awesome!! The menu and the cutscenes are a nice touch too! Visually this is a very polished game, Good Job!!
A few friendly suggestions if you're planning on updating the game after the jam:
-Maybe add a lives or a checkpoint system! I found myself dying quite a lot in this game, and having to start over was a little frustrating.
-I had a couple moments where the controls were just a bit too unreliable for me, perhaps that's what made it a little difficult at some points.
But overall, very impressive, nice game, keep up the good work! :)
Ahh thank you so much! It means a lot to hear such kind comments :)
I'll definitely take that on board going into the future, the checkpoint system specifically has come up a few times when getting feedback from friends so I'll definitely try and update it with that at some point.
Nice little intro and the vfx feel just right. The random movement complication feels like a waiting game to survive, but I liked the other issues that arise. Good job on producing it all solo, it's quite the undertaking for one person.
Thanks, I'm glad you liked it!
I'll keep in mind not to make a waiting game in the future, very helpful advice. :)
