In this game you are exploring the levels by using procedurally generating pine branches that are growing without your direct control, and balancing that with planting wood consuming fungus, that is equal parts help and threat.

I've searched for itch.io/jam/gmtk-2020/rate/696969 and I have found THE ULTIMATE GAME! xD

A very interesting game, with nicely processed graphics! The art was very impressive for the short time you had. The idea of growing plants, which Ive seen quite a lot lately, has been transferred very well in 3d! great job!

It said I needed to download some extra program to make it run.

Could you provide more details pls? It ran just fine on PCs we tested it on.

This was the message I got. I was confused because I downloaded like 10 other games and none of them gave me any similar messages.

DirectX Runtime is not an "extra program" on the sense that it breaks the rule. It's a driver that probably is installed on your machine but the version you have doesn't support the engine they used

Got it. Thank you.
