This was a really fun and unique twist for this. I think the sound fx were the most annoying part, and I think it would have been lovely if there had been some simple background music to kind of fill the space. Really enjoyed it though!
Thanks - glad you liked it! ๐ Sorry about the SFX - we didn't get a lot of time to balance them. I bet it was the talking one that was annoying, right? ๐
I like how you can just immediately end the game by saying you're not a hero. Very unique!
Haha, yeah we wanted that to be a very quick way to make the point that the story's in control, not the player ๐ Cheers
Hey, I played your game, gladly I completed it. The concept is really good, taking a hero who's coward yet tries to portray himself "heroic" and avoiding any dangers. However, the responses are always the same. Try to shuffle them :)
Thanks for your comment ๐ I think shuffling the options would be a great idea!
I really like the idea of the game but I have a big issue. I think that the options seem too trial and error. It's really hard to tell what option will kill me and what will raise my coward level. Also the sound is really loud in the game. With that being said I love the idea that you have to lie your way out situations. It's a really cool concept.
Thanks ๐ Yeah trial and error is definitely our intention - Our hope is that you start off wanting to go on a quest, die, and quickly realise that's not how you're supposed to play the game.
Hopefully the silly deaths made up for the frustration ๐
