GMTK Game Jam 2024

Great game! It was really fun and I love how you implemented the jam theme. The only problem that I've seen is that sometimes I want to scroll to see the list of buildings and I end up zooming in and out the city.

I noticed the scrolling issue but unfortunately didn’t know how to properly isolate the input but still have the UI follow the viewport.

You can use the 1-8 keys to select a building without scrolling through the list!

Very fun game! I think I got up to around level 8 before I died. I’m not sure exactly what the lose condition is, but I reckon I ran out of resources (or may be the city got destroyed?). In either case, it is very satisfying to continue building up and up. Great work!

The city can only take a few hits before you lose the game. It starts at 20 health points but bigger rocks can do more damage.

The city also grows with your available building space so you also need to expand sideways.

I was working on a tutorial level when the time ran out.
