Definitely needs some kind of tutorial or explanation, i managed to mostly understand the controls a couple levels in but even then i didnt feel like i was completely in control. Which isnt a bad thing in a vacuum, but when it requires platforming and dodging moving obstacles, there was a point i just gave up. Still had some fun though!
A bit tricky to get the hang of, but a pretty fun and creative game nonetheless! Good job!
The concept of a boucing dice is pretty cool the controls just need to be ajusted because as they are now I felt like I had control over nothing the game was just playing itself
Here are my thoughts:
- I could not figure out of how to move the dice. The A and D keys seem to change the angular momentum, but not the trajectory.
- The dice's jump height being determined by the eyes is a cool idea, but a bit too unpredictable. Perhaps it would be more fun if you could see three rolls ahead, so that you could plan out your movement a bit, while the randomness still creates a dynamic experience.
- I wish there was some music! Maybe some jazz to go with the casino theme.
- I liked the background art :)
Yeah, I agree a better explanation of how to move could have helped a little bit. The A and D keys turn the die so that it bounces in the direction you want.
