The game looks really cute in the screenshots and I really liked the flat & colorful aesthetic of the game. I also found that having more than 2-3 die attached made it hard to strategically decide how to attach the next die, and a lot of the time I ended up rolling around almost randomly to see if I could get the desired number to pop up. In my opinion it might be easier for me to calculate how to approach the next die if my goal was beating the desired value instead of matching it exactly, then I'm trying to just maximize the sum of faces instead of counting them all. I also thought the cut scenes were very cute, but it would be nice if you could click to go through them instead of having a timer.
The game being too hard has been a genuine problem with the game. It's easier for the designer than the player for sure. I thought about the fix that you mentioned, where the player has to surpass the value, but only after the submission. I think I'll change it to that when I'm allowed to update the game.
Glad you liked the graphics and the cutscenes. Really appreciate your honest review ! Cheers!!
I think there's a bug that will let you pass a level even if you don't have the right total. Pretty sure I passed a level where I was supposed to have a 19 with an 18. Cute cut scenes though!
Glad you liked the cutscenes haha. I will surely look into the bug. Since it's an early build, some glitches always pass through. Should be fixed in the next update!
Good graphics, but I couldn't really tell what I was doing. Pressing in random directions until I won worked, I think. But I'm not really sure. Still, not bad!
Haha, I agree with you. However if you actually look at it, the game is more about finding patterns than actual math
