How does your submission match the theme?
I took inspiration from the video on versitile verbs and went with a shield as focus. You hold a button to raise your shield and press other buttons in combination to mix and match your actions.
The game is only playable with a controller, but can be played in any browser with HTML
Third-party resources
The engine is Construct 2 and I used photoshop and after effects to make sprites and animations
