How does your submission match the theme?
The only way to move and deal damage is by dashing. Dashing has limitations making combat a difficult dance of lunging in and out.

Lovely little game! I included it in my Game Maker Toolkit’s Game Jam compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look. :)

Love your approach of the theme, cooldowns and how the sword can be harmful to enemies when moving it while only red. Tying this more in with enemies dropping something that feeds into the system and mechanics would flesh it out more!

cool game! random level generation in a game jam is really cool, the mechanic works well and the visual style is really nice!

only a couple of problems, the sword SFX glitch out when you put it against a wall, and the game feel when hitting enemies is maybe a little lacking, but otherwise a really nice little game!

Thanks you, and I do agree that I does need a but more juice to really confirm you hit someone.

Pretty good!  I like the idea of dashing to both move and attack!  The level generation seems a little unnecessary and the camera can sometimes get in the way.  I like the aesthetics though and the idea!

Nice, interesting concept! I would love to see more of it in the future! I think that multiplayer mode would be a perfect fit for this game :D

Saw this being posted around during the making time, but couldn't get the file to work unfortunately

Hey so I figured out the problem and fixed it, thank you for letting me know that it wasn't working. It should be updated now :)
