How does your submission match the theme?
There is a "mother" red that spawns all the reds, and a "mother" green that spawns greens. Greens can heal you, reds kills stuff.
The mother Red is really powerful.
You gain levels through attacking enemies.
The rage system makes you kill everything in sight, green or red. It gives you an edge in combat.
Attacking reds will give you POWAR and save the greens. Which in turn all helps you to kill the almighty red mother.

The dual purpose design sounds interesting but didn't get to encounter it during my playthrough. Or at least, I didn't notice it. The game felt stiff/slow and it could've used some more visual/audio feedback but I understand its absence with it being a game-jam game. Still interested in what it could be with more time put into it!
agree with everything here.
the hardest part was getting the timings right (mob spawn rates, the rage cooldown and build up, movement) which requires lots of play testing which i didnt have time for. ;(
