Short description of the game
“Using your trusty grappling gun, steer yourself to safety and survive outer space!”
Swing around between objects in space with the help of a grappling hook. Dodge comets, collect points and survive as long as possible.
We took the theme very literally, but wanted to not only theme the graphics after space but also the actual gameplay. That’s why we chose to do the zero gravity idea.
Development Process
The idea was entirely made up by one of our designers. We do however find similarities to games like Angry Birds Space and Super Mario Galaxy.
The designers worked a lot together over call during the game’s development and most of their work came along without issue. The graphical artists kept each other updated through text and image sharing. It mostly went smooth, but of course there were issues with blender and rigging, so the player character gets to do a fun T-pose during the whole game.
