Short description of the game
We ideated themes relating to the outer space and tricks you can do with moving in space. We soon came up with the idea that we wanted a sci-fi feeling game where the player lives in a space station and must solve puzzles with the physical space also changing.
Development Process
As we are all artists with some Unity experience, we wanted a narrative heavy approach with a fun concept, so we would all enjoy creating art inside the premise. We had two 3D artists, one 2D artist, an audio designer, and a writer, so our skills were nicely balanced and complemented each other. Luckily some (especially Iiro) had extensive Unity experience, so we were able to actualize our original ideas.
Our first meetings were held at Aalto campus, and later we went on to work remotely with the tasks each of us were assigned with. We had a lot of discussions on Discord and often hung out at the voice channel to solve issues and make decisions + have fun while making the game.
We did our best to help each other and everyone worked hard, which made a really nice game jam experience.
