Welcome to our third game jam dedicated to epic engine, Godot!

With a top prize of $150, submissions are open from Saturday 7th December 09:00 (GMT) through to 23:59 (GMT) Saturday 14th December. Reviews & ratings will take place for the following week, closing on the 21st December (closing out just in time for the holidays!)

As always, we have a few goals with this jam: (1) to have fun, (2) to create & showcase some epic games, and (3) to allow the Godot community to show off the amazing things possible with their tool.

This jam is hosted by:

tooling.gg is passionate about game development & the tools that people use to bring their worlds/stories/characters (& more!) to life. At our heart we are a tool directory,  game jam community, and research provider.

The theme for this jam will be announced when the submission window goes live at 09:00 on Saturday 7th December.

1st Place: $150

2nd Place: $75

3rd Place: $40

+ Bonus $15 for a participant (chosen at random) outside of the top 3 who submits a review of Godot via the form below.

Please note! In order for your submission to be eligible at least one person from your submitting team must complete the following form asking you about your experience with Godot here: LINK TBC

IMPORTANT - If you have participated in one of our previous Godot jams you still need to answer the form as it will ask you different questions!

Prizes will be paid via PayPal or Amazon gift card, and are per submission.

Who can enter?

We welcome anyone from anywhere to participate in this Jam. You could be working alone, or part of a team.  You'll obviously need to have an itch.io account to join! We look forward to seeing your creations!

If you have any questions regarding the jam, participation & finding a team, prizing or anything else you can find the tooling.gg community discord here: https://discord.gg/ADqcWTAjZD

There will be three voting criteria for this jam & we are using a rating queue of 5:

Game Mechanics (How does the game feel & play? Are there good game loops?)

- Interpretation of the Theme (Does the game have a good inclusion of the jam theme?)

Design (Does the game look & sound good!)

We want to honour a few rules, so we can all have fun as a community:

- Your submissions will only be eligible if you complete the review form.

- All assets and fonts used in your games must have the correct license

- Game must show all necessary credits

- Games can be in 2D or 3D

- Games can be submitted to be played via the browser or locally
