It's the tutorial!
I mean, you did what you set out to do, but I can't help but feel that there was an overuse of the Beginner asset packs. Between the parallax background and the game environment, I feel like I saw this game already, just with cats and rats implanted in place of the fox and frog.
I'm sorry if this isn't the case, but it makes it hard for me to judge fairly.

I like the cute art style, and swole cat is great haha! I think the collision size of the rats is too large though, so I kept dying at the start too easily - but an easy fix!
