It's time for the FIRST EVER Goes over Well (G/W) Game jam!

Goes over Well is an SRD by Colt Hack that serves as a rules framework to build your games on. It uses one each of a standard RPG set's dice and can be used on any theme, setting, or style of game. 

Goes Over Well is an inverted dice challenge system. Your characters gain stats and want to roll below (or equal to) that number. The difficulty changes when the task is more complicated; they have to roll a larger die, making rolling below your stat more difficult. That’s the gimmick!

The rules are simple. 

1. Create a game that uses this system and release it sometime in the month of November, 2022

You can use games you've already started work on, or start fresh with our inspiration prompt.

INSPIRATION PROMPT

Not at all a requirement, but at the start of the jam (Nov 1st) this page will update with a prompt for inspiration for your games. This will hopefully get the ball rolling and help you explore similar themed to other contestants in your own way!

~ Corruption ~

Political corruption? Digital file corruption? Moral corruption? Scary corruption magic? Maybe you have an angle I haven't thought of! In any case, this optional prompt should hopefully help get your gears turning.
