I'm not sure if the "freemium" buttons actually did anything, because when I would click to buy something, the pay window would come up, and then I couldn't do anything else or close it. Funny take on the jam theme though.
They do work, but you have to press C to actually pay. I recommend reading the controls for more keybinds
