  • A solid game with a good foundation for something even better. The only thing that detracts from the game is the slight movement inertia, which causes an otherwise perfectly calculated evasion to result into an accidental bump into a bullet. Also no sound effect when powering up. Inertia/5, pretty good.
  • Love the theme! Great power up system. I think the hearts should be displayed at all times as part of the HUD.

Also, the controls since I don't believe I made it clear enough in my initial comment

MoveArrow keys, WASD
ShootZ, Space
DodgeX, E
UpgradeC, F
Slow movementShift, Q

Configurable controls and other stuff (and more clear control conveyance) will be added in a future update, but not now so it doesn't influence rating

Developer

The future patch has came out, you may base your rating off of the original but the best experience is of course in AA_Updated. Base your ratings off of AA if you would like because that is the one that was published before the deadline.

I am going to leave this here as this version is terribly buggy and unfinished and I'll finish it soon, my power went out meaning that my third day of work on the project just couldn't happen. Please do not use the EXTRA powerup as it will crash the game because of a typo.

Arrow keys to move, Z to shoot, X to roll, Shift to slow, and C to "upgrade"

This and more will be remedied in a future patch.
