What is this?
Welcome to the Holistic3D Game Jam! This is your opportunity to shine and show what you can do with 72 hours and a knowledge of Unity and C#. Join the conversation (#jam-talk) or find team members (#jam-teams) at http://bit.ly/H3DDiscord :)
What is the theme?
CONSPIRACY THEORY!
What is the criteria?
Games will be rated based on 3 criteria, out of 5 stars:
- Relevance (how close did your game match the theme?) - Completeness (how 'finished' was your game?) - Fun (how enjoyable was your game to play?)
What are the rules?
1. Use Unity and build for PC, Mac or WebGL. 2. The game must be free to play, suitable for all ages and created from scratch. 3. Submit your entry between the start and end times. 4. The game must be uploaded to Itch.io (no remote links like Dropbox).
What are the timelines?
The jam will start on Friday, April 24th at 6PM CT. The countdown clock on this page displays how long until it starts.
The jam will end on Monday, April 27th at 6PM CT. Then judging begins.
The winner will be announced on Monday, May 11th.
Are there prizes?
1st Place - All present and future Holistic 3D courses for free (*) - An e-copy of 'Holistic Game Development With Unity - 3rd Edition' (*)
2nd Place - An e-copy of 'Holistic Game Development With Unity - 3rd Edition' (*) - A free Holistic3D course.
3rd Place - An e-copy of 'Holistic Game Development With Unity - 3rd Edition' (*)
(*) For teams of 3 or more, only 3 of each prize awarded.
Is there voting?
This jam will not have the option of voting, since previous jams have experienced issues and claims of 'vote rigging'. To avoid the jam turning into a popularity contest (instead of which game was the best), Penny will play all games and decide on a winner.
I submitted my game, now what?
You can submit your game any time after the start time and before the end time. There is no benefit to submitting early so make every minute count!
After the closing date, all submitted entries will be played and rated.
