This is an excellent start to a really fun crafting game! I don't believe it fits the summer theme, even though i definitely have tasted some smores that feel like they were made out of wood and stone... That being said, I would strongly recommend you add important player feedback like audio (so they know each click is resulting in "work"), and perhaps some type of finished animation or display when i craft a new smore.
You could also require the player to have intermediate steps... for example, picking up a marshmallow requires you go to a camp fire to play a minigame where you roast it. I would say 90% of smore making is about the marshmallow + fire experience, especially when your friends dangerously whip around molten sugar and risk catching us all on fire!
Great game but I I feel like you should ahve make it so the image of the guy turns according to the directions you are moving in but overall it is great.
I think this is a pretty cool game. The gameplay is pretty interesting and smooth, and I think smores are the staple of summer. I'm not 100% sure about the planes in a 3D environment, so I think you probably just should've either stuck to 3D or 2D. But, uh, other than the small nitpicks, this is a pretty solid game. Great job.
I was very confused how to play at first, so the instructions should really have helped. Also, I feel like music would have been a nice touch and also I feel like your environment needs a little variety because you only have trees. Cool concept though!
Hey! This game is ok, no animations though, which is confusing. I know that unity is hard, though I've never used it myself, but I feel like this was a very last minute game. I think it would be better if you had instructions at the start of the game so people know what they are supposed to do. Good job though! Pretty good concept over-all!
Interesting idea. Its a little confusing at first because you cant tell if the tree is taking damage when you click it. Sometimes I found myself not able to tell if im moving because theres no animations or change in the players direction. Another reason its hard to tell if im moving is because theres no flowers in the landscape to be able to use as a reference to my position. Good idea overall!
I thought this was a neat idea. S’mores are a summer essential! However the game was a little boring and hard. I only found the marshmallows and didn’t find any of the other objects. The movement wasn’t too slow but the bland landscape and lack of interesting gameplay made it boring. It’s a shame because I think you had a good idea here.
