Hello everyone, time to get spooky for this game jam! This is a poetry THEMED game jam, but that means you can still incorporate additional elements in the game, all I ask for is a PG-13 poem that is scary. 

Since you are allowed to incorporate multiple elements in addition to your poetic works, you have multiple creative freedoms such as:

• How you present your poetry, for example via a text based format or a comic strip format.
• The subject of your poetry, so long as it is scary I don't mind who or what it is about.
• The type of poem you present, this can be anything from a short haiku to a huge epic and anything in between.
• You can create something truly unique and unlike anything else!

Every entrant of this game jam will be mentioned on my website, and the winners of each respective category will be in a featured post that is displayed on the front of my site! If you want to check out my website, where I have some of my game jams displayed, you can look HERE. There are A LOT of misconceptions as to what poetry is considered, so I will also feature a couple of honorable mentions on my website as well.

Sadly, it is well known that not everyone on the internet is exactly nice, and since I will use submissions for my website (where kids could see it), please refrain from anything extreme. I assure you that I will be a bit relaxed on the rules since I do want horror.
