Note: the Jam deadline has been extended to November 22 at midnight - you can still qualify for the lottery prize! (Late submissions will be accepted, but ineligible for lotto reward)
Harvest Jam is a game jam hosted by Amor Tali. It has also been generously sponsored by Evil Hat Productions (more on that below).
Learn more about the AGON RPG and associated playsets at agon-rpg.com.
If you haven't read or played AGON yet, we'd recommend buying a copy and getting familiar - but it's not a pre-requisite to participate! If you have questions head to the Discord and post in the #general or #hack-talk-main channels, or make a post on the Reddit.

This jam runs for a month-long period, from October 15, 2024, to November 15, 2024 There is no voting or judging in this jam, but there is a lottery prize.
The theme of this jam is "Harvest". You are encouraged to interpret that theme as loosely as you wish.
Some important guidelines for your submissions:
Thanks to Evil Hat Productions' generosity, there will be two prize winners, determined randomly. The prize is a single-use $25 coupon on Evil Hat's store for PDF products (not usable for physical goods or Roll20 offerings).
Submissions can be simple text or spreadsheet documents - Google docs, Word, or even .txt files. If you want to make something a little more polished, we recommend using Affinity Publisher for PDF submissions.
Check out the Agon/Paragon SRD to get an idea for how the creators of the game suggest structuring homemade resources.
Come chat on the Discord or Reddit if you need a place to bounce ideas!
Thoughtful representation
If you're interested in a making a submission that represents any real world belief system or culture then make sure you do your homework. Starting on page 148 of the AGON core rulebook is a fantastic section on how the creators approached thoughtful representation of epic Greek Myth. These articles also outline thoughtful approaches to religious representation in TTRPGS and some best practices for gaming in historical settings.
If you are sticking to the Greek theme, theoi.com is a rich resource for learning more about Greek Mythology.
AGON structures its sessions in self-contained "Islands". You can find a list of them in the back of the AGON RPG book. @sdunnewold has created additional islands. Follow the structure and layout of these existing islands to create your own!
Inside of each playset you can find suggestions or examples of how the playset approaches the concept of "islands" (adventures). Feel free to make an adventure module for an existing playset! Just make sure you point out which playset your adventure is intended for.
If an island or adventure doesn't interest you, consider one of the following:
Relevant templates (use however you'd like):
AGON island template from sdunnewold [FREE - requires inDesign or Affinity Publisher to use]
Google Docs AGON island template [FREE - Based on sdunnewold's inDesign template] click here to copy the template directly
An alternate mythology or belief system using the blank playerkit
In the publicly available AGON player-kit you'll find a player sheet with references to the mythic Pantheon removed. Use this as a template for player sheets that revolve around an alternate mythology or belief system, fictional or real-world. Remember the resources above if you're interested in representing a culture that isn't your own. You can also include supplemental rules to make it work for your mythology.
A completely new playset with a unique premise for the Paragon system
AGON allows for the creation of distinct playsets that completely reimagine the core premise of the game. This may turn out to be a complex option for your submission; but it doesn't have to be! Many playsets are only a few pages long, though some are over 20 pages. See Deathmatch Island for a strongly developed example of a playset (don't be intimidated by the high quality, Deathmatch Island exceeds the scope of a month-long jam, just see it as a reference).

The second newsletter of Amor Tali will release on October 20th, and it will focus on providing lots of idea "sparks" for this jam. Stay tuned for some mid-jam inspiration, & feel free to shamelessly steal any ideas you get from there - that's what it's for :)
