- A well-rounded quest! I appreciate the note in the parchment text about the difficulty level, and the healing spell scrolls. These thoughtful touches balance the challenge well. Great boss fight, and I like the ability to learn a dread spell. And I lol’d at the Ogre doing Pilates!
- Very well crafted quest notes for this quest - I particularly like repurposing of the rack ;) Some fresh concepts and lovely narrative touches. Great work and the best of luck!

Hello ! First, sorry for my bad english if i were to leave mistakes. ^^"
Just yesterday, we played "Tower of the Dread Witch".
In my opinion, your quest is one the best of this Jam ! :) We had a great time !
Each area is well crafted and memorable. It's a fresh and inventive quest. At first, the board on the pdf feel a bit "empty" but it was a false impression. The boss room, in particular, is fire but i espacially liked the library.
I follow your video channel on youtube. We play a lot of heroquest games with the kids too.
Thank you for the sharing !
Hey DJAC! Thank you for playing it.
Terry loved your feedback--he's got a real eye for quest design. I think his quest is actually better than the quest I was planning to submit (we went back and forth with Ash, and the only way for Terry to enter was to put it in as 'my' entry; you can see that one on my itch page).
We've been looking through the quests and really enjoying seeing them--haven't had the chance to play them yet. We'll make sure we get yours on the list of ones to try out!
David and Terry
Hey,
I just checked your quest " legacy of the Legacy of the Orc Warlord" (great title to ^^). It is also a very nice quest and i will definitely try it with a group of adventurers. I like the concept of the wandering monster (where the prisoners take damages) a lot.
With your post, i discover that "Tower of the Dread Witch" is from Terry. Waw ! Big congratulations to him. We are sincerely impressed.
You already made me decide to have my second daughter try heroquest last summer. Now, the nice exemple of your quest will definitely decide my eldest to start writting quest. ^^
Big GG to you both !
DJac/Mim Hagen (alias David, its to believe that all the heroquest's dads have this name XD)
He loves doing it. When things slow down at work, I'll post a couple of videos about helping kids design quests, hopefully they'll give you and her some ideas!
This is a great idea ! I'm looking forward to watch your video when you will have time. ; ) Thanks !
