  • I love the opening parchment text you have written for this quest, nicely done! You have allowed for quite a bit of space for exploring, it might take heroes a bit of time to find the right path. As a quality of life feature for Zargon running the game, I recommend shading out unused rooms. The power-ups you grant to the Barbarian and Dwarf are very cool, and quite powerful! I dare say they overpower any spells that the Wizard or Elf could muster haha! The ending of this quest is quite nice, I do enjoy a good cliffhanger. I felt a chill run down my spine!
  • I like the narrative twists in this quest - the clever use of the base set of furniture is also noted! Great work and the best of luck!

Hi Azzamandoo,

I am creating another itch project that will have the whole five quest campaign. I will release it once the Jam is over.

Thanks for the interest!

The Ash video on your quest brought me here ! : )

Thanks for the sharing !

Your quest is relatively simple in design but there is a good vibe emaning of it. It's good classical old fashion Heroquest with scenes that comes to live by on their own just by playing the quest.

Loved the spell-skill scrolls for the barbarian and the dwarf. It's an smart way to add some homebrew skill for the two warriors.

I'm curious about the rest of the campaign.

Hey, thanks! Yes, I intended for the whole campaign to be an expansion that can be played after the core game quests and before the Frozen Horror. I am currently working my way through Prophecy of Telor after getting through Kellar's Keep and Witch Lord.

I also have started a cohort with a couple buddies and we are about half-way through the core game. When I wrote the Heroes of the Grave expansion, I had it in mind to take this cohort through it once we were done with the core game, before we moved on to Kellar's Keep.

I will probably clean up the other four quests and build them into a project and post it here, so you, Ash, and others can get it if you want.

Glad you liked it, and good luck with your Quest!
