Hispanic Heritage Month is a time to learn about, reflect on, and celebrate Latinx identity, culture, and history - why can't that include games? So, here's #HHMJam!

The theme for HHM 2015 is, "Honoring our Heritage. Building our Future." Your challenge is to create a game that falls under that theme or otherwise celebrates HHM or Latinidad during HHM. It's our hope that this jam will encourage new ideas, characters, or themes to sprout or simply just to inspire designers, writers, and fans to try out something different! All entries will be showcased on this website, as well as CSDN's Twitter and Tumblr accounts.

If you want to support the jam without participating, there's lots of ways to help. Share music, sounds, graphics, avatars, or other tools that jammers can use in their games. Spread the word about the jam and the games that are submitted. Give feedback or share ideas with jammers! The heart of #HHMJam is celebration and inspiration, so you can simply share encouragement and it will go a long way.

El mes de la Herencia Hispana, es un tiempo para aprender, reflexionar y celebrar la identidad, cultura e historia Latina - ¿Y porqué no festejarlo con videojuegos? ¡Por eso creamos el #HHMJam!

El tema para HHM 2015 es, "Honrando nuestra Herencia. Construyendo nuestro Futuro." Tu reto es crear un juego que celebre el HHM o el ser latino. Esperamos que este Game Jam pueda alentar nuevas ideas, personajes, temas o que simplemente inspire a diseñadores, escritores y fans a intentar algo diferente. Todos los juegos estarán en exhibición en la página web y en las cuentas de Tumblr/Twitter de CSDN.

Si quieres apoyar al game jam sin crear un juego, hay varias formas de ayudar: Comparte música, sonidos, gráficas, avatars o alguna herramienta que los participantes puedan utilizar para crear sus juegos.
