Wow, that was a different experience. I liked how you can see the cycle of the day happening in the game, and the mechanic of accelerating time is really cool. It took me some time to understand it, at first I thought that I had to kill the wolves and make humans survive. But both sides have to survive the longest. Really interesting and a pretty different take on the theme.
Really cool game! The platforming was fun, the characters are creepy as intended (I assume) and their special skills feel great. It's incredible how you were able to pull off a 3D game. One of the best entries to the jam I've seen so far, congratulations!
Really nice art style and music! But in terms of gameplay, for me it was basically a "blind clicking and hoping for the best" fest. The reasons that made this happens, which I think are the bigger issues in the game, are:
Overrall a great game. Loved the music, graphics and gameplay. What makes me take one star away is the level design. Some areas really don't look like they're made for your character to traverse. Enemies on super narrow platforms that are below you and makes it impossible for shooting + areas with just too many enemies, way more than I can handle. I'm not taking one star because the game is "too difficult for me". I think there should be a better progression through the levels. For example, if you're going to introduce an enemy that is really hard to kill, at least make the first one easier, in a relative safe environment, so you can focus your attention on him and learn his pattern. And yes there is the mechanic that makes you stronger when you die, but I really don't like dying and starting a stage over. I think that every stage should be designed having this in mind, making all of them completable even with the first weapon and without dying. Great job! I hope that didn't look too critic, because I really liked the game :D
I love the art, music, and the sounds that was made for this game. Love the creepy vibe at the end of the game.
My only complaint is the gameplay. It drags so much when I have to find the villagers and the combat is too basic that I never needed to use some of the other abilities, which makes it less engaging.
Still, I was very satisfying to see that ending.
Great game! Love the art! Gameplay is so chaotic and engaging that I keep on retrying to see how much longer I can survive.
I did found a bug that when I start pulling the axe that the character starts spazzing to the top and then comes down.
Like the plot twist at the end! Giggled a lot along the way.
Few issues that I had was the graphics looks at times washed out as if it was not exported properly. And the roads of the lines seems that they are not moving along with the car and same with the floor at the shop.
Other then that, I played it through the end and I did enjoy myself!
