How was Houdini used in your game's development?
everything was done in Houdini (Animation/Modeling) , firstly the terrain made using highfield noise distort and 2-frame of erode then converted into meshes with the use of polyreduce and 2xbend nodes and smooth ,
secondly the main flying crystal was done by converting a base noise highfield then converted into FBX smoothed and re-imported to houdini for animation using bend/twist and smooth which later was converted into 3D Cache for the final animation

later all the models was put above a low poly version of them for collision detection and another lower count ones for the grass crystal and foliage placements ..

Environments animation and modeling is all done in Houdini

Besides Houdini, what other tools did you use and what did you use them for?
1 model sculpted in Blender , SFX from GDC audio library

None , all done by myself in the last 2 DAYS
