OK, so I'm going to give you my honest opinion here.

I didn't get that far in the game, I didn't finish the boys dream. It was the part where you had to match the color of the bunny statues, I think. After that, I couldn't figure out what to do next so I quit.

Regardless, even if I knew what to do, I don't think I got enough incentive to keep playing. I felt as if though I had already seen everything that the game had to offer before I even got any further, I thought the rest of the game was just going to be bringing items from point a to b for no reason. I didn't know if there were going to be any boss fights or any dark secrets of the family members, needless to say I didn't feel it was worth investing my time to find out.

I understand that you were trying to go for a surreal game, which is great! I love surrealism, I feel a lot of developers do not delve deep enough into the genre enough. However, I wasn't getting those surreal vibes that I was hoping for. It looked like you were trying to make ambiguous environments with random elements such as flying potato chips, bunny statues, and dead bugs to create dreamlike sequences here, but I don't think it works. It COULD work, but I don't think you succeeded here. I guess what I am trying to say here is that it's "too random," and not "surreal." Dreams can feel random, but the truth is that everything is linked and connected in some way. Do you know what I mean?

So if I had to give you any advise in the future, it would be to lower your ambitions, keep your scope small, and juice up the gameplay.

Thank you so much for the honesty and for playing it. I am sorry the experience wasn't the best.  I do know what you mean. I do agree and I will be redoing the whole level and add some stuff in the future. I hope you have a great weekend!

I didn't mention this earlier but I like the way the monster looks too.
