- Overall a good effort! There are a lot of complex interacting systems in there for the various stats and boons etc. I really like the use of both or neither to get the player to decide against whether the trade off was worth it - though because the game is pitched as a silly game (e.g. with the music and general premise) I think almost everyone will choose Both just to see what happens. One thing to try to work on in future is the core design and how it is communicated to the player. For a game jam like this, a lot of your audience is likely not going to play long enough to invest in the complex systems and pay attention to all the stats, especially when the rounds turn over so quickly (unlike say an RPG over dozens of hours). If you could convey all those stats in fewer words/numbers/use clever visualisation then the player is more likely to think about their stat and boon choices. For the amount of time you had though, it is very well done to code up all those interactions between the stats, it must be quite a flexible system under the hood. - William
